### What is Taiwan Filings?
Taiwan Filings publishes the official material-information filings of every Taiwan-listed company (about 2,000 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the Taipei Exchange) in English, each with the verbatim Chinese source line. It is for people who buy from, sell to or work with those companies, and for their AI agents, which read it over MCP.

### Where does the data come from?
From the exchanges' own open data: the daily material information (重大訊息) of TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies, their monthly revenue reports and company registration data, released under the Open Government Data License. Items are published T+1 with both the time the company filed and the time we published.

### How do you decide what is material?
Every filing is judged once, the same way for every company, for what an operator would act on: disruptions and cyber incidents, customers and suppliers, equipment and capacity, leadership and auditor changes, financing, M&A and legal matters. An English summary is only published when a verbatim line from the Chinese filing backs it, and that line is shown next to it. Routine notices are kept in the full record but not flagged.

### Which companies are covered?
All companies listed on TWSE (tickers ending .TW) and TPEx (.TWO), including TSMC (2330), Foxconn / Hon Hai (2317), MediaTek (2454), ASE (3711), Delta Electronics (2308), Yageo (2327) and Unimicron (3037). It maps brands and subsidiaries to their Taiwan-listed parent and lists what each filed. Only manufacturer names are sent, never part numbers, and nothing is stored.
